- The brilliant Scots gaelic singer Julie Fowlis has released two albums on Spit & Polish / Cadiz Music; "Mar A Tha Mo Chridhe (As My Heart Is)" and "cuilidh" (pronounced 'Koo-lee')
She hails from North Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland. Despite singing in a language which claims a mere 60,000 speakers, Julie is winning friends throughout the UK and all over the world.
